🇺🇦 Zelensky: Today the Russians have launched an absolutely vile strike on Sumy – just on residential buildings. Four air bombs. Unfortunately, there is a victim: one of the bombs hit a residential building, killing a person. Another bomb hit a school, an ordinary school, where children were at that time. There was another strike on Kyiv at night with ballistics and drones. We are preparing new negotiations, in particular on air defense and further support for Ukraine. A package of missiles for “Nasams” arrived in Ukraine the day before. We are talking to all our partners so that missiles are needed for “Patriots”. There is also a decision today from Belgium regarding the F-16. We will receive three more aircraft this year. And I also thank today the European Commission – the EU – for preparing a decision on the next tranche of financial support. Last week we received 3.3 billion euros for weapons, and in the coming days we expect more good financial news from Brussels – namely budget support, another tranche.
